The Saisei software is configured using a Rest API. This document describes the API and how to use it. Basic familiarity with the concepts of the Saisei software is assumed, such as the use of flow classes and policy maps to direct traffic.

Familiarity with basic web technology is also assumed. More information about the basics of STM can be found in the Saisei Traffic Manager Concepts Guide.
