Upgrading opConfig between 2.x or 3.x versions

Upgrading opConfig is a very simple operation, if your starting version is 2.x. If you are migrating from opConfig version 1.x please check out the separate version 1.x upgrade guide page.

The required steps

  1. Download the new opConfig release
  2. become root and unpack the release tarball
  3. run the interactive installer and follow the prompts
  4. visit the opConfig GUI and confirm your EULA acceptance for the  new version
