Exporting Charts as PDF, JPG or PNG

Exporting Charts as PDF, JPG or PNG

From opCharts version 4.9.1, charts can be exported in PDF, JPG and PNG formats.

Exported charts will include all information visible in the chart at the time of export, including:

  • Axis label

  • Legend

  • Current chart zoom level

Additionally, the exported chart will have a top heading which includes:

  • Chart title

  • Node name (if the chart is determined to be in the context of a specific node)

  • Time filter (e.g. 2d) and date / time range

Note: To ensure charts are of an appropriate size for readability and inclusion in other documents, all charts are rendered at a size of 2400x1200 on export. Note that this may affect the visible X and Y axis ticks.

Example: Exporting a chart as a PNG

Charts can be exported from any context, by choosing one of the export options from the dropdown in the top-right corner of the chart.
